After studying and teaching the NYS School Transportation Safety Refresher on wellness I decided it was time for me to make healthier choices. Here I was, telling school bus drivers and monitors about the importance of having a healthy safety attitude (such as drinking more water, getting enough rest, and walking at least 15 minutes a day) and yet I was lacking in those myself. Sure, I get enough rest, but drinking 64 ounces of water a day or walking daily was not at the top of my list. So I decided to start drinking and get moving!
